AccuBooks is a secure CPA practice management portal operated by Mobilia Montali (the "Firm"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information in compliance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Loi 25) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in Canada (Supabase Canada East region) in compliance with Loi 25 requirements for Quebec businesses. Security measures include: • AES-256 encryption for documents at rest • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit • bcrypt password hashing via Supabase Auth • Row-level security (RLS) — clients can only access their own data • Private document storage — files are not publicly accessible

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable tax laws and professional accounting standards. Quebec CPAs are required to retain client records for a minimum of 5 years. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights Under Loi 25

As a Quebec resident, you have the right to: • Access your personal information held by us • Correct inaccurate information • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements) • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing • File a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information (CAI) To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Third-Party Services

AccuBooks uses the following third-party services: • Supabase (database and authentication) — data stored in Canada • Vercel (hosting) — CDN and serverless infrastructure • Resend (transactional email) — for sending invitation and reminder emails • Anthropic Claude (AI assistant) — queries are not stored or used for training • Google OAuth (optional login) — subject to Google's privacy policy

8. Cookies

AccuBooks uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies.
